Does anyone have a power tilt/trim that would fit an 88 50HP and that you would be willing to sell? Does anyone have a good source for one? I have seen a couple on ebay go for mega bucks...I currently do not have one but I can see the advantage of one and have always wanted to explore this...

Suddenly lost compression on the lower cylinder. The top cylinder in about 120 psi and the lower is around 30. I pulled the head and there were no signs of scoring or damage to cylinder walls. Fuel was mixed properly and carb adjusted out a little beyond 1 and 1/8 turn. Thoughts and suggestions?

1988 50 HP. I just cleaned the carb and replaced the needle. I replaced the idle screw and put in new fuel pump diaphragm/ gaskets. The Idle screw is out about 1 1/4 turns maybe a little more. It sneezes at startup but then will run great...sometimes losing power at full throttle.. Thanks

I just tried to start the engine with a freshly charged battery and all that i was able to do was choke it. When I turned the key to start: nothing happend. no sound or anything. My connections are clean. What can I do to troubleshoot this? Thanks, Chris
