Thanks for the reply, the back of you transom looks good. I just dont wana put unneeded holes into the wood of a new transom. But it's looking like unless I replace when whole skin there is no other option. And I really dont wana get into re buck rivets and bending of aluminium. I'll prob go...

I have 1986 sylvan eliminator 17ft and I am replacing transom. My question is there anyway to fix the holes made from a kicker mount and other attchements do to previous owner or owners. Besides the obvious of placing bolts and screws back in and sealing..thanks
