    Compression test on 30hp 1987 Johnson

    I had my boat out this weekend and the motor ran horribly. It took forever to get it started, and once it was started it still ran badly. I gave it a compression test tonight and got 110 psi in the top cylinder and 114 in the bottom cylinder. I'm not sure where to get specs on what this...

    Leaking oil from lower unit.

    My 1987 30hp Johnson is leaking oil from the upper vent hole in the lower unit. Any ideas on where it's coming from? Also how difficult will it be to fix? I posted a pic. Thanks in advance

    lenght of transom mount question

    I'm looking to get a kicker motor on my 16-foot aluminum fishing boat. The transom height on my boat is 20", and the motor I'm looking at buying is 25 1/2" from the bottom of the skag to the transom mount. Is that sufficient lenght? Thank you!

    Boat over heating at low RPM.
