    Radio turning off at certain volume

    The problem happens when the engine is running as well. I spliced old wires into new harness. Connects back to the battery and I am suspect of the wires. Going to replace the speakers this summer. I also found a YouTube video tonight of the same issue because of a bad ground.

    Hi there, First time posting here and writing about my first boat we got just last year. Have a sylvan 2000 spacedeck. Radio wasn’t working and wanted to upgrade anyways so I installed a new Sony deck. When I get up to a louder volume, but not that loud, the radio just turns off and then back on...
