So my question is "Can a fixed HUB Prop slip?"
If so how can i fix it?
I have a Mercury Marine Laser II 48-16544A46 Stainless Steel Boat Propeller and at higher RPM's it felt like the prop was slipping..
Switched out to a different prop and the "slippage" is gone..

I'm thinking about using the cooling system from the engine to produce the heat.
Example..
Install a "radiator" inline with the cooling system.
My thinking was to run the line from the cooling...

its' actually very easy to get to..
I just replaced a fuel pump yesterday which was located underneath the engine.
There are panels on each side that can be removed with wing nuts..
All the bench seating and panels are removable and makes it very easy and roomy to get to.. takes about...
I got the Wix 51061 Spin-On Oil Filter for my 2000 5.0 model..
This is what mines look like with the remote oil kit..
I bought the boat with it already insatlled.. Not sure if it was standard from the factory or not but makes changing oil easy.

I've been noticing my spark plugs getting fouled up and wanted to see what oil ratio would you guys recommend. I'm currently using 50:1 now.
Just to confirm, that's around 16 onces of oil for a 6 gallon tank. Right?
Am I missing something?

I just picked up a 26' Boston Whaler with dual 1988' e150txcc 150hp Evinrudes.
I can get her to go about 33-34 mph on gps with the WOT @ 3900 rpm.
Prop size is 15x17.
My question is it safe to ride that low of an RPM?
What is the recommended WOT RPM range for these types of engines?
