I recently replaced the points and condencers andthe coil on my 69 evinrude. I turned the shaft to the arrow that shows it is at the top of the stroke and tet the points at .020. when you turn the shaft the points open to about .035. does that mean the piece that goes arround the shaft is...
my 86 chric craft has a 350 inboard. it started slipping in drive and reverse. it still runs and the prop spins it it just doesnt spin as fast as it should. what problems could that be and how hard is it to fix? and is it very expensive?
I have a 69 evinrude 6 hp and I am leaking gas out of a little hole to the top left on the carburator. what could that be caused from and what do I need to do to fix it.
