    Carb Swap, 4Br Q-jet to Eldelb, 1490

    i have a 89 5.7 mer-Cruiser engine with a 4br Q-jet carb, does anyone know if the Eldelbrock 1490 will bolt right on, is there an adaptor plate i need, or any other things i need to know before ordering . i would like to order what i need and have everything. Thank you for any help!

    Help! still Bogging down advancing throttle quickly, 89, 5.7 Quadrajet

    i have fixed half of the problem though, i recently rebuilt my Quadrajet because it would not idle and it boggs down when advancing the throttle quickly, but the latter is still apparent.
