    trouble w/ acceleration 1977 115hp rude

    done alot of searches on the forum for the problem i'm having. my problem: idles fine, goes into gear fine, when i go to powerup it bogs down around 2000 rpms. what i've done so far: done compression check (okay). spark on all 4 cyl (okay), trigger assembly moves freely, check all fuel line...

    1977 115 rude parts vs. 1980 115 rude parts?

    thinking of buying a 1980 115 parts motor for parts for my 1977 115. can i use the stator (10 amp) and timer base off the 1980. i know the 1980 has plug ends on the stator and timer base, which i would just splice if they would work. be nice to have spare parts. any thoughts!!!

    1977 rude powerpack question?

    hi guys, had my boat out the other day and all ws going good until i started getting surges in power (rpm changes). my motor is a 1977 115hp rude. next day i cranked her up at home and found a bad wire shorting out (thought i fixed it) not. i had her running and all of a sudden the motor died...

    DIFFERENCE BETWEEN QL77JC4 AND L77JC4??

    I HAVE A 1977 115 RUDE THAT PURRS LIKE A KITTEN, MY QUESTION IS THE MANUAL CALLS FOR A L77JC4 PLUG, BUT HAS QL77JC4 CURRENTLY BEING USED. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PLUG?? JUST BY LOOKING AT THE 2 DIFFERENT PLUGS THEY LOOK THE SAME!!! ANY THOUGHTS?? THANKS ALL CHAZ

    WHAT TYPE OF TACHOMETER FOR MY EVINRUDE??

    SUZUKI DT140 PROP?

    CAN A PROP OFF OF A DT140 BE USED ON AN EVINRUDE V4?? THEY BOTH HAVE 13 SPLINES. NEED HELP BEFORE I BUY???
