Second new fuel pump doesn't pump. It has three barbs , black one for gas 2 brass ones one big one small. Mounts on a fuel pump bracket which doesn't seem to have a vacuum port on it. I'm pretty sure Im hooking it up wrong but tried every configuration and ts not working! Driving me crazy...
sorry should have explained better. Going to replace it. I jumped it out and the motor fired right up had 12 volts on one side and zero on the other even when stroking the switch. Looked a tad confusing getting it off. Thanks!
I deep sixed my gas cap cause the chain broke. The marina said they are not sure what cap it is. Anybody have a place to buy one or what to measure so I get the correct one?

I ordered the stator and rectifier. The thought I just had was I never marked the flywheel when I took it off. Anybody know how to line it up right? Last thing I want to do it mess up the timing. Never pulled a flywheel off without a keyway. The six bolt thing was different.

Anybody know how to get the play out of the steering? The out drive bearing is ok been checked. Problem appears to be in the steering not the out drive. Anybody replaced the steering unit.
