    Evinrude lower unit

    I'm currently running a pump on a 1987 Evinrude 110 v4 and would like to switch to a prop, just not happy with the pump performance. Do i have any options on years of lower unit that will apply to my motor setup?

    Fuel tank vent

    Should I be able to smell fuel from the fuel tank vent on my lowe v1940,... cause I don't. Does a system that has a filler hose separate from the vent hose have a one way check valve in the vent.     engine miss at mid rpm

    I have a 1987 evinrude 110hp that has a jet pump that I have a miss at mid rpm. Runs fine at lower rpm below 1000 and 3500 to wot 5300. At 2500 it starts to miss alittle but if I trim the engine up it goes away. Could this just be a simple float adjustment

    I have a evinrude 110 v4 that I am trying to time using the "Joe Reeves Procedure". My question is that I can only find the sesor wire (Tan) that goes to the horn. When I touch the wire to ground it sounds off the horn. Is it possible that this engine does not have the fast start system. Thanks...
