    powerhead to mid section gasket??

    The OMC manual for my "97 150 says to apply permatex #2 gasket maker to the "inner exhuast flanges" and then to coat both sides of the gasket with sealer. There is a picture showing the area where I'm supposed to apply the gasket maker...but the pictures in my manual look like somebody scanned...

    surprise in gasket kit?

    ...just picked up a Bombardier gasket kit for my '97 Ficht150. It comes with flat, paper gaskets to go bwtween the throttle bodies and the intakes where the original deal was a couple of elaborate o-ring style gaskets. I was womndering why the change...cheaper?...better?...both?...anybody know?

    Just pulled my heads...

    On my 2nd to last outing this fall, I noticed my motor ('97 Ficht 150) becoming hard to start and then running poorly. I changed the plugs, ran some tuner though it and went out for my last trip of the year. It ran the same..even a little worse at idle. I did a compression test and found #3...
