    I don't know. My tank is in the front of the boat 8 foot + from the motor and no doors to access. I will need to cut carpet and wood to get to it. Every electric fuel pump says mount within 2 foot of the fuel tank as does my machine shop. At this point Ig I'll try it 8 foot away and hope it...

    I'm still not sure what pump to get... I can figure out how to wire it once I get the right fuel pump...

    Thanks for help on wiring. Plunger is the way the mechanic that rebuilt my engine described it. He called it an electrical mechanical fuel pump. I need this because how far it will be from the fuel tank. To help understand why: I bought this boat as a repo from bank ofcourse cracked head...

    My block doesn't have the option for a mechanical and the fuel tank is very difficult to get to. The electrical fuel pump will be 8'+ from the fuel tank. Is there a electrical pump with a plunger that will work?
