Can someone tell me how thick the fiberglass should be on a motor mount stringer for a OMC 400. Looks like what was on there was 1/4" thick. But don't know if that's too thick. I'm using 1708 biaxial with poly resin.
I'm planning to start the installation of the fiberglass in my runabout, I am using 1708 biaxial mat with polyester resin. I was wandering since the biaxial has the mat stitched to the back on the cloth already do I need
to put down a layer of 1 1/2 oz mat first or can I just use the 1708 biaxial.
