I'm trying to replace a broken prop on my 88 Bayliner 1950(3.0L OMC Cobra). The prop I have is 13.25X17. My question is the price for a 3 blade aluminum ranges from $87 to $153, why choose one over another? Thanks in advacen for any advice.

The bolt flange on my thermostat housing broke so only 1 of the 2 bolts hold the housing on and consequently it leaks - alot. Can this break be welded or do I need to replace? Would you replace with a new part or risk another used part? Any ideas on why it would break? Thanks for any advice you...
