    What gas to use in my 1974 70HP LOOPER?

    Johnson 70 HP gearcase lubricant

    I have a 1974 johnson looper 70 Hp, and read in the shop manual to use "sea lube" in the gearcase. I have no idea what that is. It also says in case "sea lube" is not available, to use DEXRON ATF. Is this normal to use ATF in the lower end? This is with the hydraulic shift assist unit. If not...
