    mercury 650

    i have a 1968 mercury 650 , ok it idles fine but when you put it in gear i dies you have to ram it in to gear a few times then its fine well if you call 8 knots fine that seems really slow for that size motor.. what could be wrong ? we had a evinrude 60 hp on it done 22 knots.... the merc burnt...

    650 65hp mercury

    ok i have a 1968 650 mercury , where does the water pee out? out the front of the prop? i dont see a pee hole anywhere else theres just two sqare holes . the head doesnt get hot just want to make sure before i take it out on the water thanks

    1961 merc 60 - 6hp

    ok the motor starts up fine idles but when i give it gas it doesnt rev up just stays at idling speed . what could be the problem points? coil?
