Ive got a 110 hp in-line 6 Evinrude. Engine # is 1011-2484. Does anyone know the year of manufacture or the model line production run? Or, what are the current resources to lookup? Thanks
The guy who had my job before I did left behind a tube of gasket sealant in the shop. Its a black gooey substance called "Permatex form-a gasket sealant". Wondering: should I use this stuff on the cyl head gasket? No instructions on the tube. Anybody have experience with similar stuff or insight?
Does anybody know what a brand new cyl head gasket for a Honda looks like? Is it a sandwich of metal only, or does it also have a rubber layer? Could still use advice for cleaning mating surfaces for head installation; solvents and/or methods appreciated.
