    After running good all day,she dies,restart,no probs,throttle up,,,dies,,,restart,,,runs good at "no wake speed" only ???? gas,plugs,prop,carb butterflies...all good thoughts ??????

    pull start ? 85 hp

    1987 85 hp starter motor is giving me a hard time so... I thought I'd pull start her up. HOLY #@## ! talk about a hard pull !!!! this cant be right and/or normal. thoughts ? ps; all oil levels are fine,plugs plled or not...still HARD !

    I could use a lil help from ya! My boat is in Baja,I'm in San Diego. I'm trying to get some new steering cables and I cant find my notes about what length they were? I also wanted to get a new fuel tank sending unit and all the suppliers sell em by the length ? Anybody ? THANX

    prop/transom mount height ?

    hey....got a question here ? As you can see by this picture,the motor use to be mounted a lil higher on the transom ?.....What up ???? This "boat" is still "new" to me,shakedown cruises,workin out some kinks,etc. Noticed this and thought,,,, why ? Fiqured you guys would know.

    looked all thru the other threads? When I undo the nut on the steering cable,,,doesnt it jus pull out of the steering tube ? Is it jus stuck and I need to persuade it ? my steering is froze up and I'm tryin to repair
