    Reversed Polarity, battery melted, warning sound. Ugh.

    OK, I'll make this short and sweet. Johnson 2000 30HP, Bass Tracker. Reversed the polarity on my battery, the negative terminal melted, along with some wiring under the dash, and near the engine.
