I just recently got this motor, and yesterday i took it to the lake to test it. it ran good in the barrel but when i would get it on plane it started to surge for some reason like i was giving it wide open throttle then no throttle. the whole time it was doing this i had the throttle wide open...
so i just bought this 35 hp super seahorse. i got it running but not very well. i haven't taken the carb off and cleaned it yet. thats on the to do list. my question is about the "cut-out" switch on the right side of the motor(while looking at the front of the motor). does it kill the spark...
i have an old 18 hp johnson seahorse on a 14 ft aluminum flat bottom boat. what is the best prop that i can buy to put on the motor for the boat i have, thanks for any replies.
