    VHF radio noise

    power loss

    forward and reverse oposite

    I have an side mount Johnson control and an 1985 175 Johnson outboard<br />When I hook up the controls they are back wards pushing the control forward I go into reverse and when I pull the control all the way to the rear I go forward<br />Is there a way to reverse the control? <br />I identified...

    loss power high speed

    Have 175 Hp Johnson outboard on a 23' Proliner<br />Opened it up and it ran for about 5 to 10 min. <br />then I had a noticable power loss<br />I ran it like that for about another 5 min and my warning horn came on and I shut down the engine<br />I started it again and trolled for about 11/2...

    I blew out the tramsome on my boat<br />I'm looking at a 1981 23'ProLine, walk around cabin (privet sale)with out an engine<br />Max engine size is 235 HP on the manufacturas data plate<br />Does anyone know what the min Hp motor I could get away with.<br />I just rebuilt a 175 Hp Johnson
