I need to add a telltale to a 1976 55 HP.. I know evinrude had service bulletins for similar models to locate the telltale to the top of the engine block.
If someone has this service bulletin, please let me know.

Would someone with a 1976 - 1979 Evinrude 55 HP that has the "cooling system modification" (where the telltale is added/moved to the top of the block), please send me a picture of the location of the telltale?

I broke a plastic part on my 1976 motor (the shfter cable guide). I found the pieces and "welded" i back together with JB Weld. I made a little form out of aluminum foil to pour the epoxy into and bild up the repair to be bigger.
JB Weld is some great stuff!
