    I got ahold of a free 14' trihull. The faded ID plate says: Lyn Craft Boats Sarasota Florida Emblem on sides say Seabreeze Serial no. 1215974 V Model no. 1500V Does anybody have any info on this boat? Can take pics if needed. Thanks all!

    Ford 302 Glastron? + motor pics. Can anybody ID?

    Long story short, I got burned, but not too bad. Got a '74 Glastron V-212 Sierra with a 270 outdrive and a Glastron marinized Ford 302 for an old alum. rowboat.     Starter issue.

    I have a '74 Glastron 302 Ford V8, Volvo Penta 270 out drive. Have a problem with the starter. I replaced the old heavy starter with the separate solenoid with a new starter with soleniod. Still have problem with starting right up at times to no start with solenoid clicking. Seem to start ok...

    Raw water pump

    Hey guys. I have a '74 Glastron with a 5.0 Ford V8, AQ190(I think), 270 Volvo outdrive. The seawater pump is shot, impeller worn out, not pumping water, been glued together before I bought the boat. Its a Jabsco #17410. Is there a way to convert to a crank mounted pump? Replacement pump is crazy...

    Changing oil on a volvo aq290 V8

    Is the oil removed from the dipstick tube? Will the cheaper 12v pump sold here work? Should I change the outdrive oil too? Was not done last fall, still learning here!:confused:

    Type of oil and vis.

    I'm new to stern drives so some of my questions might seem stupid. Since alot has changed since 1974, can I use synthetic oil and what viscosity? Does the engine and outdrive use the same oil? Setup is Volvo AQ190A/270. Thanks all.
