    tach for mag ignition

    I have an old Bendix tach for a mag ignition and I was wondering if it would work on a 1960 40hp Johnson. It has 2 wires on the back one of which says mag. The other says nothing.     Johnson 40hp generator problems

    I recently installed a generator on my 40hp Johnson. I got it all hooked up but it willnot charge unless the field circuit is grounded. When I ground the field terminal,the regulator works normally and charges the battery. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Corvairkid

    Voltage regulator for 1960 Johnson 40hp with Prestolite generator

    I need a voltage regulator for my '60 RDSL-22-C.It has a prestolite generator.(well,it will have if I can find a regulator!)no luck from ARCO&NAPA.I also need a drive belt.Thanks!

    starter bracket for 1959 Johnson 18

    Thanks for the input for the 40hp.I found a new starter at my local marine shop.It works great!I have a great running '59 18hp Sea Horse on a '62 Feathercraft 13'.I would like to add a starter.The flywheel already has a starter ring on it.Any input greatly appreciated.Thanks again.
