    Looking at the 16 guage power wire that came with my eagle 128 how can it possible put out even 100 watts.

    u-joint bellows grounding clips

    I just bought a transom repair kit and the exhaust bellows came with 2 grounding clips and the ujoint bellows came with none. <br /><br />what function do these serve?<br /><br />Will it hurt anything not to use these on the u-joint bellows? :confused:

    shift cable bellow

    I need to replace this somehow It got "sliced" I really dont see how this could have happened. Can anyone tell me what tools I will need to do this? maybe any foreseeable problem areas? My exhaust and u-joint bellows look fine.

    The float in my gas tank doesnt float. where can I find another one? Or do I have to buy the whole sending unit?

    heat exchanger ?

    170 merc alpha 1. The endcap on my heat exchanger bent out I believe from freeze damage so I flatenned it with a rubber mallet and bolted it and the 2 rubber gaskets back on. Problem is I have a slight leak from it I am afraid to tighten it any more Is there something I am missing?

    stupid question

    merc 170 alpha 1. When I run the boat on the flush muffs is water supposed to come out a hole near where the shift shaft comes out of the lower unit and connects to the upper unit? I believe there is a hole there.

    Can some one tell me what the name of this stuff is

    I am rebuilding the doghouse (engine cover) on my i/o and I need the insulation fireproof looking boards but i dont know what they are called or where to find them I also nee some spray foam will the stuff at home depot work? thanks for any suggestions

    I need to replace my shift cables 170

    Is this hard to do? From what I have read I have to remove the sterndrive and pull the cable thru. Am I going to need an alignment tool to finish this project? <br />1986 merc 170
