Tried to replace the impeller on my 1988 85HP Force the other day. The dealer kept giving me the worng impeller. I took the old one in and what you know. I finally got the right part, however the parts guy had to give me an impeller from an 85 HP Mercury instead. The books were all messed up...
First time boater, inherited boat from father-in law, and I want to replace the broken and beat up windshields on the boat. Does anyone know where I can get some new ones or any other replacements? I would like to add a picture of the boat but dont know how to do this.
My boat runs well, however ocassionally the warning horn will go off at idle. I throttle up and get it going and the horn will stop. Once I idle again the horn comes back on. any suggestions on what might be wrong?
