    Trolling Motor Cables get HOT!

    I just replaced two deep cycle batteries on my trolling motor. When I ran it at full speed on the lake this last weekend, the cables got VERY HOT. At slower speeds it did not occur. The cables are (6 Gauge / SAE). I was under the impression that 6 gauge was plenty big to handle a 24V / 67 lb...

    Tounge Troubles

    I'm having a heck of a time getting my trailer on and off of the ball. Will slightly loosening the large nut under there offer more room without risking having the trailer pop off the ball while in transit?????

    Water Discharge

    Just replaced my impeller on 98 / Evinrude / 115. Is it normal for water to discharge from between the lower unit and the gear housing as well as coming out through the upper discharge hole? Evinrude puts a small slit in between (about 1/32"), so I'm guessing this is normal?

    Batteries for a trolling motor!

    Stowaways have been dying prematurly on me. Does anyone have any suggestions on a quality deep cycle? Additionally, has anyone ever added electrolytes to a battery to add life? Also not sure about maintainence free types?
