    residue, grease? in prop housing

    ran 50 rude with ear muffs since out 4 a while. next day i noticed about a tablespoon of a thick oily residue sitting inside the prop housing below the nut and cotter pin. looks much thicker than lower gear oil. never have noticed exhaust residue to build up like this? do not know of a grease...

    small screen on carbs?

    purchased 2 that matched in the book. <br />champion QL78YC are what I purchased but I pulled <br />out champion QL78C. <br /><br />What does the "Y" mean and how different are these?

    89rude50 fuel loss(?) high rpms

    Runs fine at 1st but then starts to bog down(stall/jerk)at WOT(slows to about 2-3000 rpms)."Feels" like fuel restriction.     spl 88 rude idle adjustment 101

    darn thing way to high and I need to idle down. Appears to be 3 adjustment areas(one on top of the other all related) port side that would effect the throttle set up. Are there any semi-lamens instructions on how you would adjust each to lower the idle??

    surge, skip, miss? troubleshoottheory advise

    88 spl tilt/trim fluid top off which screw?

    Sorry for novice question but i cant find my manuel. im not certain which screw/or where to put ATF fluid. My set up appears to have 2 rams below and middle hydraulic arm. Starboard side has wide flathead in the middle,both sides have phillips on top. Not sure which screw is what?
