    Throttle won't go forward

    I have a 1971 Evinrude Fastwin 40hp. The throttle won't go past about 60 percent anymore. It was working the other day. Any ideas of what it could be. (maybe needs wd40, but then why did it work fine the other day not today?) Thanks, Tom
