    Lower unit install on Yamaha F100

    I just completed installing a new impeller on my Yami F100. Now I can't get the lower unit back iin all the way. Gets about an inch before the shift linkage meshes and no further. Any experience and tips are appreciated.

    I am installing a Yamaha 100hp 4 stroke and 703 control box. The wire harness that goes to the instruments has a fuse holder, which is empty. Does anyone know the rating of the fuse which goes there?

    Impeller change on 1988 Merc 6hp

    I want to change the impeller on my 6hp. So I took out the 3 bolts holding the lower unit in place and attempted to drop the lower unit. Problem is that it would only separate about 2" and no further. Is there something else I have to remove, loosen or undo to get the lower unit completely...
