    Throttle drag adjustment ?

    I have a 1980 4.5 hp Johnson and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to adjust the throttle drag on the tiller. I wanna be able to set the tiller at a speed and leave it, so I don't have to keep my hand on it.

    will it crack?

    Over the winter I discoverd a couple pinholes in the bottom of the rivited hull and had them weld a patch over the area. my question is does anyone think the hull will crack around the welds? I have had it out handfull of times since repair and has been fine no issues.
