Since this board has been so helpful, I have another question about the fuel tank on my 89 50hp johnson.
I have the OMC steel gas tank and there's no vent or anything? Shouldn't there be one? There seems to be a lot of pressure in the tank if I remove the filler cap. What am I missing here?
bought a used boat and finally put it in the water, problem is that the alarm (continuous) goes off as soon as I turn the key to the on position ... it doesn't shut off
