    I've finally gotten this motor running great but the gearcase leaks pretty bad. I was wanting to rebuild it this winter but I've been a little scared off with how many specialized tools it may take. has anyone made any tools to make this chore easier?

    My brother in law has a 1984 25hp evinrude and he ruined the pinion and forward gear. I found an 85 25hp Johnson cheap on ebay. does anyone know if it will fit his 84?

    I'm not sure if the kill switch wires on my motor are run correct. One wire comes from one set of points and goes to the kill switch.
