    I dont think mine has that hose,just the pisser hose. Only thing I can thing is the connection between powerhead and exhaust plate.

    Yes I've replaced all gaskets on powerhead and the exhaust plate gasket. It has to be leaking around exhaust exit of powerhead ,it instantly puffs out front when first started

    Right above the tilt area. I guess it would be right below lower cowl in center.

    I've got a 89 mercury 40hp 4cyl that I cant seem to fix exhaust coming out near tilt area under powerhead.I replaced gasket twice even tried rtv .No change. Are they known for warping exhaust plate or the block itself? I'm stumped, any help would be great!

    lower unit seal kit

    Hello all, long time looker first time poster.I have a 73 Evinrude 25hp serial # 25352AE0002886 Im in the process of changing the impeller.<br />Is there such a thing as a lower unit seal kit for this motor? Or do i just need the gearcase kit?Any help would be great! Thanks
