I have an 1978 galaxy tri hull that has many spider web cracks in top side surfaces some of these maybe opened up an 16th of an inch. I have polished alot of the lower parts of the boat but need an way to deal with these cracks. thinking of sanding down flat. Then filling voids with resin then...

I was riding around sunday and hit bottom in the preocess I picked up an piece of nylon rope around prop and it must have had an metal hook or such on it....it broke an piece out of the gear housing above prop just below the cavation plate. how critical area is this . I ran it 3 miles back in...
The mixture screws on both carbs will vibrate and turn on this engine....the springs seem to be ok I even tried to stretch them a little but still screws turn..can actually watch them ...would a drop of blue....ie removeable locktite be ok for these or would this not work. Has anyone else had...

I have a Mercruiser outdrive on my 1977 Galaxie Boat. The wires to the two trim switches on pivot of gimbal have cracked and need replacement. They seem to go though transom plate behind gimbal.....how do I change these...... any tricks to make it easier to snake wires thru transom.

Just found a freeze crack on bottom of exhaust manifold...seems to be minor....motor does over heat or such just small leak.....was thinking of either drilling each end and tapping for set screw to stop crack from increasing and sealing with JB Weld...will this work.....if not what of disassy...
