    Boat identification

    I just picked up a 13'6" semi v Jon boat. On the transom Support bracket it says Jay Co and there is a picture of A bird. Looks like a blue jay to me. Does anyone know Who manufactured this boat? I tried to upload a pic but It says the file size is to big !

    Ted Williams Deluxe Model 217-5949-1

    Just got this motor and it is missing the little plate on the side of the lower leg that is held in place with 2 screws. I have searched for it online and can't find it anywhere. Can I still run the motor without this plate? It's a 7.5 Horse with forward neutral and reverse.
