    1.5 or 2 hp evinrude

    I just bought an evinrude outboard that I believed to be a 2hp....although looking at it once I got it home I saw on a tag that it says 1.5 hp at 4000 rpm . Soooo this motor has no recoil...no reverse...and I believe it to be around 1970 or so ....I cannot find a model number ...only serial #...
