Wondering if someone can tell me what type and weight of gear oil for this engine. Also, a quick lesson on how to change it. There is a screw at the bottom by the prop (OIL) and there is one abve it marked (OIL LEVEL). Am I to assume I fill from the bottom up?
Hello, I have recently procured a 1997 or 1998 2HP Johnson outboard. I am trying to find out the correct type of engine oil to use as well as the fuel to oil mixture ratio.
