I am new to boats, but got a 77 Harris deck craft and says ford on title so i figured it is a ford 302 but on motor says OMC 175 on valve covers. One thing i would like to know is can someone tell me how to set the timing on it I think it may be off and also the motor wont rev up, any thoughts...
So we got a 1977 harris deckcraft boat with a ford 302 175 hp motor in it and carb was rebuilt and you can watch it spray fuel and looks like a good stream coming out. When we try to rev it up it won't do it, it starts too but then just like kinda flutters and wont rev up, thoughts please?
