    Adding MapSource to Garmin 192C

    I have a Garmin 192C loaded with coastal charts. The charts were pre loaded when purchased. I want to add Inland Lakes. I have located the DVD. Can this be loaded to my 192C from my lap top or will I have to use it with my lap top ?

    I am replacing the timer base, power pack and stator on my 1996 Johnson OceanRunner. Do I need to set the timing after this replacement?

    Thinking about putting a new motor on my 23 Ft. cuddy. Currently have a 225 Johnson. How bout the 225 Yamaha by comparrison. Can a drop down to a 200 Yamaha and get the same performance?

    Is there a difference other than cost? Should I pay the price and replace with Johnson parts or use CDI?

    Constant stator burn out

    The stator on my 1996 Johnson Ocean runner has gone out 3 times. The last one I replaced was in march of 2007 and it is out again. Each time I replace the stator, I replace the voltage regulator as well. I use lock nuts on the battery posts. Could the Power Pack be causing this problem?

    Is the E-Tec as good as they say it is?

    I may be replacing my 225 OceanRunner in the near future. I had planned to go to a Yamaha. Is the E-Tec a better choice? I fish mostly in salt water.
