    side window, remove or not

    So, the Glastron I bought last season has these side windows that I wish were not there. They look easy enough to remove. I'm just wondering if the glass is needed for the strength.

    cleaning the boats

    I received a free sample of some 303 products. The cleaners are great. After doing some work on the boats, my seats looked pretty nasty. This stuff made them look new again. They will get my money from now on.

    milky oil!

    2000 5.0 GL PEFS 4012042852 3869056 So, the 1st time out this season I overheated. New pump is in, water problem solved there. Now it seems I have water in my oil. I read somewhere about a gasket that should be changed after an overheat. Would said gasket allow water into my oil? Any help here...

    exhaust riser gasket after overheat

    Some guy at work is telling me I should change the riser gaskets seeing as I know the motor overheated. I have been reading a lot and see nothing on this. He says it might allow water into the motor after an overheat. Is this a concern or not. 2000 5.0 GL PEFS.

    splitting an SX drive

    Prod # 3868891 SX-M. 1.60 Ser# 4202026798 Is there anything I should know before I take the bolts out to drop the lower half? The only thing I have found online talks about lifting the upper gear case off. I plan on leaving the drive attached to the boat and dropping the lower case.
