    Bravo III popped

    I will try that when I can get back to the boat. I'm pretty sure I could turn the props when it was in gear but I can't remember for sure. There's not much room behind the engine but I did see the end of splined shaft. Will that be shaft I will be looking for? Thanks again for the suggestions.

    I was thinking about the coupler but the mechanic said usually you won't hear a pop when the coupler goes and there is normally a smell of burnt rubber. There was no smell. Would it be a broken shaft between the upper and lower unit? Thanks for you help.
