    1989 125hp, no spark on cyl#1

    Tested stator, ok. Tested trigger, ok. Swapped coils w/#2, 1 still didn't fire, 2 did, coil ok. A few years ago I bought a set of coils and cdi boxes, they are black, mine are blue. Do these interchange? Like to swap the cdi box to test, did notice that the connectors for the coils are opposite...

    1989 Force 125, main jets are different size

    Top carb has a .094, bottom has .1015. Is this normal, or should I even them out? If so, where can I buy one? Thanks.

    1989 Force 125, new carb seats seem loose

    Removed old brass seats , the new ones look like stainless. These fit without tapping them in, and are easily removed. Can I use some kind of Loctite or? To hold them in? Any help would be appreciated .i bought the needle-seat kits #FK1017-3.

    Pulled the head on my 1989 1251E9B 1001, the gasket w/the openings was on there. The gasket I bought has none, but from what I can see it should work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks =====================

    I'm told my 125 Force has a 5500 rpm redline, so I'm wondering whats the best RPM to cruise out to where I like to fish, 9 miles out? 20' Open bow Arriva, stripped out for fishing.

    Carb kit info needed, 1989 125 TC carbs

    I have a 1989 125 with the TC carbs (pressed in seats). I bought the Sierra 18-7037 kits and they have the screw in seats. Does anyone know the correct part number for the pressed in seat/needle or a kit that contains them? Thanks

    2002 90hp Four Stroke, runs bad

    We have a 2002 90hp 4stroke Merc, 300 hrs, lately its missing above 4000 rpm, sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't, just had a service performed at the dealer. <br />How long should spark plugs last?<br />Any ideas?
