    40hp eletramatic wiring

    1968 35 hp merc wont pee and runs real rough

    i got the new starter in all the wiring was brittle so i taped it up. put it in a tub of water way past the inlet holes on the lower unit,,it burped and pharted then ran rough for a bit, as all this was going on it wasnt spitting any water thru the outlet. the motor ran for 2 to3 mins or so and...
