Checked oil in crankcase and it was way over full. Started it and ran for a while, checked it again and still too full. Pretty sure I did not overfill last change that much. I drained 1/2 qt out, it is 10W40 so it is thin to start with. I could not detect a strong smell of gasoline in the oil...

I am concerned about the rusting because it is coming out of the square tubing axle where the torsion arm fits into the square tubing, this torsion bar is supposed to be sealed and water should not get into the square tubing axle. The square tubing does not go level to the other side...
This trailer is built in Seadrift Texas and appears to be of high quality materials and excellent craftsmanship. It has a torsion galvanized axle, I believe made by Dexter and used in saltwater only.
There are orange stains on the inside of the galvanized wheels and it appears to be rust stains...
