I bought a boat that worked good for about two rounds in the bay. Now I have a 305 that I can use for an anchor. The boat is a 23' bayliner. I don't have the cash to buy a new motor so I'm going to put in a car motor. It's a 350 but I don't know the horsepower. 3800 lbs is the dry weight but...
What's the best way for this setup to work. I assume it has a different cam than the factory 305 that came with but I washoping that the in crease in displacement would give me some leeway to keep the rpms lower in conjunction with a different prop that ihad been using. It was a 14.5x17 3 blade...
