    Hi, I've removed the bottom section of the stern drive from my boat to replace the pump impeller. Two re-assemble the stern drive is it necessary to put the boat and bottom stern drive section in fwd gear? Thanks

    Please see picture. Is this rubber ring supposed to be fitted to the sea water pump's water tube as shown or is this the "slinger" that should be on the drive shaft just above the sea water pump?

    Hi, When I seperated the gear housing from the drive shaft housing part of one of the seals (the lower one) came out with the shaft. Can I change this without removing the drivshaft housing from my boat and dismantling it all?
