I currently have a 704 control on my '88 150 Yamaha with a broken cam plate. This is a good time for me to overhaul the dashboard. I have available to me a 703-48272-10-10 control which seems to be a pull to open control. Can I change it to a push to open? What is involved?
Is there a better place to post this question? I recently picked up a used SEVYLOR Manta Ray towable. Mucho Denaro!! The first day I ripped a seam on the left envelope that crosses the rear of the unit. I went to a renowned repair facility to query what repair would cost, only to find out that...

With only a little information anyone can be dangerous.....<br />I went looking in the catalogue for Michigan wheel and it showed a 15" diameter prop referenced for a mercruiser 470 engine. So I bought it used, $$CASH$$. (Nice and Shiny SS 17 pitch) I find now that it would hit my standard trim...
I have seen you mention decarb several times. I did a search to try and find out how to decarb my 115 evinrude without success. please point to a place to read this. Thanks.
I was considering rebuilding an E115TLES-B powerhead. I was tols that 135-140 hp was same block. What would a guy have to do to get the extra horsepower? One piston had the rings go out on it when the head gasket let go on top piston, Otherwise in decent shape.
What compression should I expect to see on a 1995 115 crossflow V4? this unit has 200 hrs on it. I assume that the 1990 version was the same, but I don't know what it should have been either. I see numbers floating around on the searches I've done saying 120-135# range, but I would like to know...

I tried SEARCH to come up with WOT for '95 Force 120 HP without success. The usual places I've looked only show current manufacturers. Can someone clue me in?
I'm having a '95 115 powerhead shipped from Tennesee to Montana next week. What should I have shipper do to motor to prepare for shipping. I figure just have them oil everything and I'll clean it up after pickup. Suggestions?

I have a 1990 Evinrude E115TLESB which has lost a piston due to head gasket failure. Rebuild cost outweighs what I would pay for a 1995 115 powerhead. Will this motor mate to my existing midsection? This is a repeat of my previous topic, I have removed the screaming capitalized text to tone it...
