Last Winter was a bit warmer here in TN than usual. I kept putting off winterizing all the way through December. I went out of town over New Year's and we finally got a hard freeze. Got back into town and checked my engine (hoping I could drain the water as usual)...
The last two times out, the engine start beep that turns on when you turn the key to on and the shuts off a few seconds after the engine starts has started STAYING ON after the engine is started. Most recently, I had to disconnect it because it just stayed on the whole time.

I was removing the water plugs on my 2007 4.3 about 2 months ago and one of the 5 plastic wingnut-type plugs fell into the bilge and for the life of me I can't get to it. Can someone point me in the right direction for finding a replacement?

After 4 months of sitting, I finally prepped the boat for spring today. Took a couple tries to start, but once it did, it ran great. I did a fresh fluid change and added StaBil and filled the tank (and ran it) before I drained the water.
All seems fine. Weather was 73 today - It was too hard...
I have an onboard cooler built into my swim platform and it is clogged. I can't access the hose from the interior -
Are there any tricks anyone has to remove the clog w/o damaging it?

Well, last year I winterized my 3.0 by changing all fluids, adding StaBil and draining the block and manifold. Worked well, no problems.
Its finally getting in the 30-40's at night and I'm going to winterize the new boat with the 4.3 Merc.
