Own a 2009 Merc 60 hp 4-strk. Accidentally (stupidly) hooked up control negative cable to positive terminal of battery when installing this spring. Iginition is dead --- blows 15A fuse immediately as soon as key is turned. Have I also fried a relay?
Just purchased a new 2009 SmokerCraft Pro Angler XL 162 w/ 60 HP 4-strk Merc. Won't pick it up until early May. It is currently wrapped up and in storage at Dealer. I haven't yet laid eyes on it, and I can only find photos of the XL 161 on-line.
Also can't find anywhere to buy "off-the-rack"...
I have an old Johnson SeaHorse 7.5 hp outboard --- Serial #204104, Model #AD-10. Would anybody be able to tell me the manufacturing date? This outboard has been in the family since 1962, when my father acquired it. He believes it is mid to late 50s vintage.
